LGBTQ Rights are very important to me, and LGBTQ-identifying people have been discriminated against for a long time as well. Whether it was the aids discrimination or even earlier, with the Nazis. (https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/gay-men-under-the-nazi-regime) We have so many more important aspects of our civilization to focus on fixing/remediating to some extent like climate change. Instead our country is hyperventilating about banning school discussions on LGBTQ aspects. We need to be accepting of others and not be banning discussions on things that make us uncomfortable.

People should be based on how they act in society, and towards others, not how they identify as sexually. We need to be more open as a country. Conservatives should be more open about LGBTQ community as well, (I think they would be anyways) because 2 men and 2 women are much less likely to have an abortion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K98TQJ5ldW0 Our country needs to be much more open when it comes to people from different backgrounds. I judge on how someone acts, not on their sexual orientation, or background factors beyond one’s control.

The more we teach in schools, I think the more students become open. In other, more advanced European Countries, they teach sex-ed openly. They have these discussions, and people don’t have to hide who they are. It’s an uncomfortable discussion, but one that avoids unwanted pregnancies.
